Relaxation: Healthy Mind, Healthy Body

After lunch hour we settle down and engage in a couple of minutes of mediation breathing, listen to calming music to unwind and experience a moment of tranquility after the busy lunch transition.  The purpose and benefits are therapeutic as sometimes the fast-paced flow of our hectic day can become overwhelming for some. This form of therapy has shown to be positive in our program environment. We all can use a little more of this in our daily lives.

Relaxation time also makes for a great time to come together as a group and review the calendar, daily weather and discuss current events before transitioning to the afternoon activities.
