The 17th Annual Luso Canadian Charitable Society Golf Tournament, presented by LiUNA! Local 183, was a tremendous sucess!

On June 13th, Luso hosted its 17th Annual Golf Tournament, presented by LiUNA! Local 183 – for the first time ever, simultaneously at two golf clubs: Lionhead and Royal Ontario! We are thrilled to share that the event sold out in record time, with a record-breaking 488 golfers coming together for a day filled with golf, fun, and community spirit.
Thanks to the incredible enthusiasm and generosity of everyone involved, we raised over $300,000 in support of our programs, services, and residential projects for individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
Throughout the day, golfers enjoyed an array of fantastic amenities including porchetta stations, gourmet sliders from food trucks, beverage carts, a luxury cigar station, and of course, the always-thrilling Golf Ball Air Cannons.
But the fun did not stop on the greens! The day concluded with a record turnout at our traditional seafood & steak dinner at the Portuguese Cultural Centre of Mississauga (PCCM), complete with an exciting live auction and recognition of golf and prize winners.

We are already looking ahead – mark your calendars for 2026. We’re planning an event that’s even bigger and better!
